Responsibilities:
• To carry out all mandatory checks and verifications on dimension and
leveling, alignment and straightness of platform fabricated during relevant
stages of fabrication and erection as directed.
• Perform dimensional survey upon fit-up and subsequent after welding for
primary structures of jacket and deck (offshore platform).
• Verify that jacket and deck legs are correctly laid out.
• Issue Acceptance/Rejection surveillance reports C/W sketch reflecting actual
dimensions against approved engineering drawings and allowable tolerances as
stipulated in client specifications or codes/standards.
• Liaise with Production to ensure that all critical work points per
engineering drawing are fully adhered to and maintained.
• Ensure all precision surveillance instruments are calibrated, handled with
care and properly maintained and stored in a suitable manner.
• Maintain record related work.
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma certificate in recognized engineering discipline or
training in DC/ Survey works.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an engineering related discipline.
• Capable of operating precision instruments such as total-station,
theodolite, dumpy level, spirit level etc. and knowledgeable in tubular
profile calculation.
• Proven ability with Total Station Survey Systems.
• Computer literacy.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Able to work at Lumut – Perak.
