Construction Manager - Lumut

Responsibilities:
• Manages project budget.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of Master Schedule, and mobilization curve, Material Take Off cost control.
• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with approved plan / drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site
• Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out
• Evaluate, and authorize changes that facilitate achievement of safe, timely project completion and within budget.
• Plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan
• Allocate capital and human resources to maximize productivity
• Able to perform under tight schedules and deadlines with minimum supervision.
• Maintain liaison and contacts with key industry expert, relevant government agencies, clients, suppliers, statutory bodies, consultants and sub-contractors.

Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in civil engineering project.
• Preferably those with experience in building, construction workshop for oil & gas fabrication & jetty construction work.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Good team player with ability to lead and multi-task
• Good track record of projects completion
• Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Full-Time positions available.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Lumut, Perak.
