BOCAD Designer - Lumut

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Coordinator & Focal Point on all engineering deliverables related to drafting section for particular project assigned.
- Responsible to manage manpower and man hours for drafting group.
- Responsible to review & check scope of work of the project
- Responsible to prepare and Check material take off (MTO) and Weight COG from 3D model (Bocad & Tekla)
- Responsible review and check material take off (MTO)
- Responsible to prepare and check all related document:- e.g. client dwgs, shop drawing, engineering revision (ER), site modification (SM), cutting plans & As-Built
- esponsible to monitor, supervise & give instruction to designer, 3D modeller and draughtsman.
- Responsible to generate, review and to update drawing register for all related drawings / all projects.
- Responsible to supervise and to give instruction to draughtsman.
- Responsible to provide input and support to PDMS Designer or Engineer
- Responsible to coordinate with others related discipline.
- Responsible to assist on all bidding job.
- To attend meeting / discussion in-house or with client
- To checked and verify BOCAD 3D Model (AFC) from consultant
- Responsible to verify & clarify all IDC (Inter Discipline Check)
- Site Visit
- To conduct execute and perform any other task assigned or instructed by the Management or other Company’s Senior representative.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum Academic Qualification: Certificate / Diploma or equivalent academic qualification
- Minimum Relevant Working Experience : 3 years
- Required Trade Skills / Certificate : Computer Literature / BOCAD software

Source Inspection Coordinator - Lumut

Jobs Description:

- Responsible for efficient and safe execution of the WORK as per procedure, process flow and company policies.
- Supervise source inspection contract which includes selection and getting approval of the Source Inspection Agency’s Personnel.
- Ensure that the SIA’s source inspection duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with the contract’s scope of work and all other applicable procedures and requirements.
- Determine the frequency of field inspections to be carried out by the SIA based upon the complexity of the materials and equipment ordered, Inspection Requirements and Vendor fabrication schedule.
- Ensure that only approved drawings, test procedures and fabrication methods are applied by the Vendor.
- Ascertain that Vendors and the SIA are in receipt of latest revision of drawings and specifications.
- Ascertain the correctness of the data and information contained in Vendor’s certificates, records and function reports are as per required specification and applicable standards.
- Review the field inspection itineraries and reports submitted by the SIA and prepare and up-date, as and when necessary, a periodic inspection status report showing all estimated and actual completion of source inspection activities based on data collected.
- Forward any request for deviation or modification to design, specifications or drawings to relevant party i.e Engineering or Client for evaluation and consideration. Any deviation or modification shall be approved by Engineering and Client prior to implementation.
- Review in detail all inspection reports submitted by the SIA for compliance and completeness of data as per requirements. All inspection report to be circulated to all relevant parties for review and comments.
- Alert the relevant parties i.e Procurement/Expeditor, Project Manager, Client of any problems with the Vendor or SIA which may affect quality, delivery date or inspection activities. Advise and seek PM/Client resolution of any problems encountered, if required.
- Whenever a query or problem is highlighted in the field inspection report, advise the Vendor / SIA of the steps or resolution taken to correct the query or problem complete with actions and comments.
- Ensure that any rejection of items by the SIA are in accordance with the rejection criteria and verify that the rejected items are rectified by Vendor prior to final acceptance.
- Ensure that the inspection duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with the contract’s scope of works and all other applicable procedures.
- Submit a timely field inspection itinerary and frequency of field inspections to be carried out based on the Inspection Requirements and Vendor’s fabrication schedule.
- Prepare, submit and up-date, as and when necessary, a periodic inspection report showing all estimated and actual completion of the Purchase Order requirements, areas of concerns, etc in the Source Inspection Report.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Section Head or Head of Dept.

Job Requirements:

Construction Manager - Lumut

Responsibilities:
• Manages project budget.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of Master Schedule, and mobilization curve, Material Take Off cost control.
• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with approved plan / drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site
• Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out
• Evaluate, and authorize changes that facilitate achievement of safe, timely project completion and within budget.
• Plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan
• Allocate capital and human resources to maximize productivity
• Able to perform under tight schedules and deadlines with minimum supervision.
• Maintain liaison and contacts with key industry expert, relevant government agencies, clients, suppliers, statutory bodies, consultants and sub-contractors.

Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in civil engineering project.
• Preferably those with experience in building, construction workshop for oil & gas fabrication & jetty construction work.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Good team player with ability to lead and multi-task
• Good track record of projects completion
• Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Tax Manager - KL

Responsibilities:
• Manage the Company’s taxation requirements.
• Manage the statutory tax compliance requirements
• Responsible for liaising with tax agents to collate information required to prepare the withholding tax quarterly and annual returns, corporate income tax annual return, etc.
• Maintain and co-ordinate most efficient tax structure for the group.
• Manage, prepare and lodge annual corporate taxation returns for entities
• Co-ordinate, prepare and lodge of indirect tax return for Malaysia (ie. Withholding Tax) on monthly / quarterly basis.
• Awareness of commercial issues and provision of commercial advice as and when required. Managing and supervising external tax audits e.g. corporate tax, etc.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess a bachelor degree in accounting. A professional accounting qualification such as MIA, CA, CPA, ACCA is preferred.
• Min 5 years of professional tax experience, with a strong background in Corporate Taxation
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that is able to work with people of diverse environment.
• A person with current similar experience or is a manager/tax senior with BIG 3 accounting firm is encouraged to apply
• Exposure to tax audits is an added advantage.
