Contract Admin / Engineer (Oil & Gas) - Lumut

Job Description:

• Day to day Project Contract Administration.
• Ensures all variations and change orders are accurately evaluated, documented and submitted.
• Prepares variation order and change order schedules and reports on status.
• Co-ordinates contract review activities.
• Prepare contract deliverables i.e. project Change Order Procedure and Invoicing Procedure.
• Enforcement of other department to facilitate Site Instruction/Field Instruction for his change order preparation.
• Co-ordinates the activities of the dedicated project control groups at all locations, providing cost control, planning, purchasing, quantity surveying, document and control, ensuring project procedures and systems are implemented and approved.
• Ensures the project management receives accurate reports to assist in the monitoring and control of the project.
• Ensures Project Milestones and targets are identified and included in the overall project plan.
• Evaluates and Approves third party (subcontractors) invoices for payment.
• Supervises the preparation of all invoices and milestone payment requests to client.
• Compile/Review all contractual documents of all Sub-Contractors/Suppliers
• Provide support to the Contract/Project Team when necessary
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate Supervisor.
• Liaison with project accountant to compile and submit invoices, payments and etc.
• Attend weekly meeting as minimum.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
• At least minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Knowledge of offshore and onshore oil and gas industry, with contractual / commercial knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Tendering experience an added advantage.
• Hands-on-preparation of Bills of Quantities preferred.
• Familiar with project costing and contract administration.
• Good negotiation skills and nature disposition with a sense of urgency.
• Good in measurements, bills preparation, cost analysis and variation orders.
• Ability to work under tight schedules and possess team working spirit
• Independent self-motivated and has strong commitment to responsibilities.
