Job Description
• To assist senior engineer to check scope of work of the project & guide subordinate
• To assist senior engineer to check client drawings and client specifications & raise STQ if any discrepancies found
• To assist senior engineer to prepare of Material Take Off (MTO) and Purchase Requisition (PR) as per project specification or requirement.
• To assist senior engineer to prepare of Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) as per PR requested and specification or requirement.
• Always to familiarize with global technical specification, codes and standard such as ANSI, ASME, API, ASTM, AISC, AWS and customer specification such as PTS, GS, SES, DEP and others
• To assist senior engineer to check vendor design calculation, documents and drawings as per client specification and requirement & incorporate in shop drawing and PDMS.
• To assist senior engineer to check engineering drawings and liaise with engineer and designer
• To prepare weight control report (WCR), Shiploose
• To assist senior engineer to review and check 3D model generated by 3D operator as to ensure it comply with client’s requirements.
• To assist and prepare for the all the bidding jobs
• To attend clarification meeting with vendor prior to issuance of purchase order.
• To perform site inspection on equipment purchase by company / client to ensure item delivered as per approved drawing. Any discrepancies found shall be listed & submit to QC dept. to include Material Inspection Deificiry Report (MIDR)
• To execute and perform any other adhoc task assigned or instructed by Section Head / Engineering Manager
• Minimum Academic Qualification: Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Instrument Engineering
• Minimum Relevant Working Experience: 2 years
• Required Trade Skills / Certificate: Computer literacy, English.
• Computer literacy
• Good command in English & Bahasa Malaysia
